Hi there!
I know it’s been a while since you heard from me. Hope you are enjoying the sunshine wherever you are.
But if you are in a place where there is that much sunshine that it got to your head, and you are thinking of microeconomics and diminishing marginal utility, well … you be a nerd, you.
(This cat fighting sunshine is me.)
Some of you had written in to check if everything was okay with me, and with this little newsletter-churning engine that I had put together (if only you knew at what cost, friend. If only.)
Note: I am very grateful to each and everyone that reads my newsletter regularly, and a teeny bit more to the ones that write in. You know who you are 💙.
A few interesting (and mundane) set of events over the last month had something to do with the cadence of this newsletter.
— I joined a brilliant group of people at an early-stage, Climate startup. Climes provides decarbonisation-as-a-service to regular people like you and I.
Y’all know my feelings on carbon markets all too well, so I think it’s pretty cool that I get to build a strong roster of high-quality carbon removal solutions for them. (Oh, I am additionally a person-of-words there. Who knew?)
— I spent my last 2 months across 5 cities, so what routine?
— And finally, as soon as I returned to the city I call home now, I tested positive for COVID. Dodged it for a little over two years, but this strain though …
To get to my point, I am writing to you today for a couple of reasons:
Firstly, and I have to acknowledge this publicly. Substack wrote a rather passive-aggressive email over the weekend saying it’d been a while since I posted. You think I don’t know that, Substack? Chill.
And secondly, that all is well in my world now, and Living In A Greenhouse will be back to its weekly/ fortnightly cadence starting this week.
See you on Friday.
Thank you for your support. Mucha gratitud.
Maybe it's the algorithms, but this subject line brought your email to the top of my important + unread inbox too. :)
